2000 EX. won't turn over.
Hey everyone! I have a 2000 Excursion with the v-10 and I'm having trouble with the theft system. I think it may be a key. It was running fine till one of my kids didn't shut the door all the way and resulted in a dead battery. I tried to jump start it and it wouldn't turn over. So I put the charger on it over night and fully charged the battery. Tried it again and nothing. I noticed with the key off and just sitting the theft light is blinking every two to three seconds. When I try to start it and turn the key forward the theft light comes on with all the other warning lights and then shuts off. I thought maybe the starter had went bad so I turned the key forward and crossed the solenoid and it fired up and ran. I replaced the starter thinking that may be the problem. Still no luck. I appreciate any advice on this problem.
