Help with starting problem

Since the temps have dropped to about 10 F our EX has developed a starting problem. Turn the key to run and the dash lights up, chime runs and everything seems ok but when I turn the key to start nothing happens. Starter doesn't click, try to turn, nothing. After about 5-8 cycles of turning the key the starter will finally start the engine with normal speed. Battery is one yr old. Battery terminals are clean and tight. Would this be a symptom of a ignition switch failing? Thanks Anthony.

I have the same issue. I have tried to track it down and have came up empty. The ignition is the only other thing I can think of.

It was the starter. It would hang up even when bench testing it.

My starter, alternator, and both batteries have been replaced within the last year. I will take thebstator off though and test it out. Thanks.

The starter was a reman viseon brand. The bendix would even hang up up on the bench. Bought a new one and it started fine for the past 2 days in 0-10 degree weather. Thank goodness.
