No gauges but keep up on the maintenance meticulously, 83,000 miles on it and its been a great truck with no problems!

Yes these trucks are very good and powerful, so Monitoring FICM, Batteries, Alt, EOT, ECT and a whole bunch of sensers will help keep Your truck on the sparkle. Its really Important to monitor before something pops up and you can catch it early

Welcome to FTE, Best 6.0 resource on the web!! Beautiful looking truck.

I'm going to echo everyone else, Get gauges! There are warning signs you'll never see without them. No amount of maintenance in the world will ward off some of the issues with these engines. My FICM and oil cooler were on the way out, and I would have never known, had it not been for my Scangauge.

If you're referring to a link to the gauge I use, the Scan gauage, there was a recent thread about them on sale here:

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ance-auto.html

But, you do have other options for gauges, so don't feel you need to rush out and buy the scangauge. You can go the cheaper route and get a bluetooth adapter and use an app on your phone (iphone or android) or even some tablets, to get some monitoring going right now. I'm on my way out the door right now, so I can't provide links for your other options, but a quick search or some help from the other members on what THEY use will steer you in the right direction. There's no shortage of help here.
