bell crank ball ?

I have two 1980 ford f150's one has the 300, the other has the 302. the 300 is the four speed 302 is a auto we are puting the 4 speed in where the auto was yes I found a 302 flywheel. drive shafts where the same only problem I have run into is the "ball" that screws in the side of the engine block for the clutch swing arm are different the one I have from the 300 has threads larger than a half in the 302 is threaded for a half inch thread where would a feller start looking for this sized ball ?

It's not really a ball is it? Is it a shaft with a ball-looking plastic bushing clipped onto it?

Is this any help? http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/fd/full.aspx?Page=117
