2012 Sync issue

I'd like to look into this further - does this happen with every call you receive?

Sync Echo on phone calls
This happens when I call my wife, the Escape is her car. Sometimes it does not echo at all, but most of the time it does. Can you be of any help? Thankyou

Are you calling from a digital voice land line, Comcast, WOW! or U-verse? I've noticed that on my home phone which is VOIP or voice over IP address. It might be the particular handset used also.

Your dealership can perform a microphone test, but before going that route, I'd try a master reset. It will restore your settings to factory defaults, but it's worth a shot.

they update is for this echo issue. It seemed to help, but I am still having the same issue. It doesn't matter which phone is used. My wife has tried 2 different phones and it still does the same thing. I am not sure what to do now?

I took the car to a local Ford dealer and they did an Sync update V3.2.5

I haven't tried the reset yet. If I do this will I lose the update the Ford dealer just put in?

he's not alone with this issue. our 2013 is the same way a echo on the phone. all tests have been done, thanks to the 1.6 fire recall it's been reflashed 2 times, one was for the dash and sync not working properly after the fire reflash.
