Looks good, you can also check the angle on the front of the crank or the end of the trans tail shaft.

Looks good Trev

I am in the same boat - put the cab back on today to check firewall clearance.

Now, time to bolt up the trans crossmember and build motor mounts.

keep up the good work. Looking forward to the photos.

Take Care

Dan

No worries thanks Dan and Scott,Good to hear yours is coming along Dan, went and checked the crank angle just to make sure with the carb plate at 0 crank angle is spot on 5 degrees, also jiggled the motor back just over 1/2 inch and looks alot better clearance wise with radiator and thermo fan

5 degrees will work fine as long as the carb plate is at zero, now just set your pinion angle to 5 degrees up at ride height and you are golden..if you can? Is there any adjustment at the rear? If not you may have to split the difference in angles if there is a big difference (say the rear is at 0 degrees). What is the pinion angle of the rear? Is the chassis currently at the angle of final ride height, meaning level or raked?
You dont want to set the engine angle unless the chassis is where you want it as far as front to back angle and level side to side (not saying you dont already know this, just covering everything )

Thanks Dave I have been checking and double checking angles
i should still have enough adjustment in the rear plate that bolts to the diff, chassis is at ride height and have been checking side to side levels as I go,its good that you raised the same things as I've been asking myself helps to have a reference check from people doing the same stuff
Cheers
