The thing that stands out are them Turbine wheels. The 35's are not a big deal but those rims... I've heard they are very popular and VERY hard to find for cheap. For 250, that isn't a bad deal if their in good cond. but someone could probably knock it down to 200 flat if they really wanted them. Too bad I don't have the cash to get them, they would be a good little gem to sell.
Next question- anybody have good place for hot tanking parts in kent area? also need a decent powder coater that doesn't charge an arm and a leg. Need a valve cover done and possibly other stuff later. Thanks for your help.
There is one in Tacoma. They are on Washington St

He was backed up last time I was there. Said
things were about a week out. He was the only
one in Tacoma that bothered to call me back.
Well I should not say only one there was one other
that waited a week to call me back. I said thanks but no thanks.
I have in the past got all my hot tanking done in Parkland. They are
still there. It does seem like a lot of the places have gone belly up.
Stupid EPA costs and rules are killing them.
I think the only thing I got hot tanked was my aluminum intake. That was when I got it because it was pretty dirty and had old gasket material on it. I got it done at a Napa Auto parts near by that has a machine shop. It wasn't real cheap but not overly expensive I guess.

Those turbines are cool, but they're 5 luggers. They made a lot of those. The 8 lug like I've got on my truck are much harder to come across

Yeah they made a lot but finding them isn't so easy. They are out there but for some reason I remember there being a conversation about how they are hard to find and VERY much wanted. The stock style that is which would be 5 luggers. I didn't know they made 8 lugger ones. I wonder if it's possible to add Lug holes to a 5 lug rim... Probably not safe to do that.

It was a cold tank. Had it been a HOT TANK you would of got nothing back.
HOT TANK is a dip and soak in a hot acid solution. Aluminum is acid's
favorite snack. The only thing you want in a hot tank is cast iron and steel.
Even some of the newer cold solutions will eat aluminum.
I see, I figured it was a hot tank because they did use hot cleaning solutions. Just not aluminum eating acid. It was something similar to what the dealership used that I worked at. A standing tank that they put pretty much anything in and it will steam clean it with a degreaser.
