i get new front tires tomorrow, and i can't freikin' wait! i own about 20, 235/85r16s, and i'll be damned if i can find 2 that are still round! tomorrow i get a pair of 225/70r19.5s up front, and in a week or two when i can afford it, i get another pair on the rear. no more tire problems for a good long while i hope! up front i'll have michelin XZE, and in the rear will be michelin XDS2. they sure ain't cheap, but i think they'll be well worth it!
If these wear out fast you should get in touch with tire manufacturers to test out new tires for them
Not much is going on here, still trying to learn some chords on my acoustic guitar. It's slow going but I'm trying. Other than that, I'm also in the process of cutting together a WAFTE window sticker to put on the market. I'd like something simple yet elegant and I've got some ideas to try. If they turn out ok then I'll make a thread for them with a picture and a link for buying them. I also wanted to get a small banner made for this chapter so that when we do a big group think like a BBQ or Car Show we can fly our flag and show everyone who we are. Maybe get some of those business card things printed out that they have on the site.
congrats on becoming the official chapter leader - you've been acting as leader for quite some time now!
yeah, i picked up a guitar a few years back, never got around to learning to play very well, so i gave it to a high school kid at church who will appreciate it - not that its hard to learn, but hell, i have like no music background, so i was hopeless from the start
Dylan what graphics tool are you using?
I have something you may like to try
Print out FTE. Then subscript the F E
then curve the top of the T and make it a little
longer so as to make look like an umbrella.
After that you could put one of the many mountains
in the background.

Thanks Josh, it's going pretty good so far. An easy job.
Sean I don't really know what you mean and yet I kind of do. I might try something like that. But I did do 2 different designs on some online stickermaker sites (CafePress & VistaPrint) so they are limited to what they had.
First, the background will be clear and I forgot to make the letters white but they would be white so they can be seen. Unless I should do bright yellow eh Sean? Hehe.
CafePress doesn't seem to have a very good stickermaker program.
I've got Photoshop that I legitimately got from PirateBay but I'm not very good at it yet. I spent a while dicking around with it only to realize it looked like crap and didn't have a transparent background anymore. Doh! I need to play with some lettering and go back to the chapter sticker thread Steve showed me. I'd like to have a place host it where people can go buy their own copies of it. Otherwise I'd have to buy a bulk pack and mail them out as people bought them. I could do that if the price isn't too crazy.
Background color.......Lets see............ Rust Red For the Western half of the state and Tan Sand color for the Eastern half.
If I have some time I see what I can whip up in Photoshop.
I have a legal version that I purchased along with a copy
of Final Cut Pro. Talk about some bucks.
We had a legit legal version with the Adobe package from long ago but I have no idea where the disk went... I looked high and low for it but couldn't find it for the life of me.
As for the colors that wouldn't be bad, maybe a Gradient style or something?
