ARP not oe torque Specs
I have an engine that failed. It was built by a 'pro.' We used arp rod bolts. Now I read that ARP uses its own torque specs on their site, and its own lube.
Does anyone have extensive experience using ARP bolts? If so, I'm wondering if you can explain them a bit, the procedure, etc. I read that they should be torqued several times when new before going to final torque?

ARP bolts are the best thing out there. Yes, they have their own torque specs and assembly lube.
the best thing I can tell you is to go to their website and read all about how they make the bolts and what their recommendations are for using them.
FWIW, I have never torqued them more than once.
