My first alert was at 10:30am when the plane landed, just got the same message at 8pm.... Yeah, it's broken. At least a few more folks know where Boulevard CA is

Hello hello SoCal! Stumbled across here after falling out of the plane from the Traveling BS Gang. Been about 3 years I think since I've been to SoCal. My dad was stationed at a USCG base in Sacramento. Also I was born is Sac. Figured I'd stop in and say hi and has how Lake Folsom has been holding up and if they are still having problems with forest fires there?
One year it was so bad the air quality was in the red and the news was telling people to stay home unless they absolutely had to go out. It looked like a thick fog that smelled of campfires. I was out riding my bicycle in that stuff.

So there is still some fires? The one we had was a few years ago. It was pretty crazy.

Watched local and national news tonight, they've got this down to a science:
Kick off with massive flooding in 12 states; interview toothless local, I cain't live heyar no mo!'
Follow up with 2 massive fires in SoCal, interview local (more teeth) all my possessions are gone, Wa waaaaa!!! Palm Springs is in the fire path!!!
Go to Amber alert, now hitting our cell phones, plea to not turn 'em off from boring executive w/ double chin.
Power ball, 448 million! Guy wants to party more with his (soontobe former) girl friend
Go to black boxes ( event data recorder) for our cars, big bro be watch in'! No laws yet on who sees data.
Insurance institute crash tests, complete with wicked awesome video
Next with '64 kidnapping and stolen baby, 49 yr old wants to know, who am I? Parents fail DNA test.
Original Oz munchkin dies, only 2 left.
Tease the end with uplifting Metal of freedom winners- Ernie Banks
All the commercials should be for pain reliever, diarrhea or E. dysfunction confidence! (Beware of 4 hr stiffies!)
