Pat - You need to build an underground, climate controlled tunnel from your house to the shop. Then you won't catch a chill walking outside.

We heat our shop at home with a wood burning stove.. doesn't cost us much of anything to cut and chop wood from the pasture.. Especially when dad makes me do all the heavy lifting

Dad did finally break down and buy a wood splitter though... I wasn't around to swing the maul much last round, and he suddenly remembered how crappy that job is...

Oh I've been ready, my Grandfather drove truck for almost 45 yrs, I've been around alot of it.. I'm working for the place he retired from, I like the work and I like the money lol

Did it for 20 years then the place folded. Sometimes its a thankless job but someone has to do it.
