Going to be on and off for me also. We're draining down the cavity as we speak, to just below the reactor flange. We should be putting the head on either tonight or tomorrow, and then they'll tension the bolts on Sunday. Probably the first week of Oct. for start up.
On another note, scored me two tickets to the Nebraska/ Illlinois game on Oct. 5th. I'm hoping to get to 3 or 4 games this year, they have a ton of home games.

I also have tickets to the South Dakota State game. Not going to be much of an exciting game, but I'll take any tickets I can get!
Moving the head is quite the process, since it weights 65,000 pounds! It has some serious studs and bolts that hold it down. You can see them in the first pic here. That's me, installing some instrumentation during an outage in 2006. The second pic is me, climbing down the ladder into the reactor cavity, to install that instrumentation. The man lift was out of service, so I had to use the ladder, it's a PITA going down that thing dressed out!
