So they're doing an injector swap only for $150, or cups and injectors for $150? Cuz, cups & injectors is more than 1.5 hours....more than 2 hours.

They are charging an hour for the work plus parts.

So, with the knowledge you've received from here, and now the shop knows what you have in your arsenal, they now can "offer" their cup replacement with heads in the truck, taking in consideration, the price their giving you.....i'd tell them to pound sand. At first judgement, just another "shop" try'n to bend over the customer....

Please PM me the name of the shop, Sultan is a small town I can't figure where you'd take your truck. But I'd suggest you just go to Dynamite Diesel in Monroe, they have a fantastic reputation, I don't pay for work but my brother has been very happy with them.

It looks like they did the "cups" with the heads in for $150 above the price of doing the injectors. My money says they may have done one cup for that... or just said the work is done and charged him $150 for pissing them off.

yup...with the knowledge the OP had received from this thread alone, and then, to show the shop whats been said, only then, to have my intelligence insulted with $150.00...forgettaboutit.
