Glove box liner fitting problem
I have a 72 F-100 (no AC). I purchased a glove box liner from LMC Truck Parts. This fitting is terrible, since it came with the built-in timmerman nuts I figured the box would mount on the outside of the flanges in the glove box opening, but no way this works, I tried it inside the flange opening, still didn't work. I tried top inside, bottom outside and vice-versa, but it still wouldn't fit. What the heck is the proper way to install this thing? I installed glove box liners in two previous older trucks with no problem.
Would I be better off buying one from a different vendor (maybe Blue Oval) or are they all made by the same manufacturer?
Is there anybody out there that can give me any help on this?
