WHat is the electrical harness connected to at the back of my XLT? It is above the frame and behind the diff. It looks like it is terminating into a small "box" just bigger than the harness.
Also, How do you insert an image so I can show you?
The backup camera connection is closer to the rear bumper. It's tucked up under the end of the bed and capped off to keep dirt out. That plug looks like the connection for all the rear lighting. Try un plugging it and turning your lights on. See if the rears come on.
It almost looks like the module that would crack and corrode inside and would leave the previous generation F150 unable to start. Looks like they relocated it. I forget what its for, something to do with fuel sending unit maybe.
Looks like drivers side. If it is for backup camera. Where can I get one? Would that imply that it is "plug & Play"?
