Now that school's out until September, I've managed to get my sleep schedule all tooled up by staying out with my friends all night and sleeping in the next day. Now I don't get tired until 4am, and usually stagger out of bed around noon.
Well I don't know about you but I like to do some late night fishing. Out on the pontoon boat. Its real nice because during the day the wind blows all the time but it stops at night.I like to sleep during the day because of the stupid heat. eh.
I work rotating shifts and sleep schedules are always goofy. My last day of overnight or lastout as it is called I just stayup til the evening and usually hit the hay about 9 or 10 and sleep the sleep of the dead til the following morning.
I got a friend that works as a grade inspector at Stillwater mine, where the platinum and palladium in your catalytic convertor comes from, he has a rotating schedule that cost him three wives, who coincidentally said they could handle it. hehe
Party all night sleep all day that use to be me......
What I did was wake up early around 7 or 8 and then when 10 rolled around I was dead tired but heck that was 9 years ago lol
Matt said "Any suggestions on how to return to normal? "...what's wrong with sleeping 4am to noon? I work second shift and I prefer this sleep schedule. Mornings are highly overrated.
Yeah, BigXXL, I know how you feel. School got out for us as well. Back to the summertime schedule. Up till 1 or 2 am and sleep until noon. It pisses off everyone else in my house, but what the heck. I only live once. Have fun with it. I find that the night time is a good time to get things done. For instance, I finished waxing the expy at 11PM a week ago. It was great hearing all the bugs chatter while I was working in the garage. I even saw, actually heard first a June bug that had flipped itself over. It couldn't get rightside up again. Stupid insects. Anyway, late nights work good. The only good the morning serves is for long trips. We have a 700 mile drive while going out east for vacation. I figure that we'll have to leave about 4am to make it into ohio at 7 or 8pm. That is going to be one long ride. I only wish the stock ford seats had more lumbar support. Oh well.
