fuel fillers generally use either a hose-in-a-hose to allow it to vent while fueling, or a small hose next to the main one for the same purpose - i'm not such which way your 2010 would be, but either way i suspect the vent hose is clogged or disconnected. try to remove the fuel filler neck and see if you can find out what failed inside.
I was told by a Ford parts man this sometimes happens when It gets very hot outside. Something to do with an anti-rollover valve, a check valve in either the fill or vent line..I should correct itself.

I dont think this 2010 series has a fuel filter....
