CEL Code
I have a 1994 F-150 XLT with the 300 4.9 straight 6 with a 5 speed in it. MyCEL keeps coming on, so I pulled the codes and the code was for the canisterpurge valve solenoid “Code 565”. I live in a hilly area and most of the time whenI like leave my drive way the light is off, and it will stay off most of thetime until I start climbing a hill. When I start climbing a decent size hill in4<sup>th</sup> gear and the motor starts working hard it’ll come on and usuallystay on. Could it be the solenoid or is there something else that can cause that code?
