trans problems!! help
I have a 92 f250 with the e40d trans it skips second gear and goes into high gear and stays when I slow down the truck bogs down and shudders bad. I'm thinking bad valve body cause the last owner ported the valve body out.

it sounds more like the converter is locking too soon and not releasing as it should to me.
how does the solenoid pack plug look? like this one? lol:
