Help with Replacement Sending Unit
I need a new sending unit for the midship tank on my 78 4x4 supercab. I've tried ordering two different units that were supposed to be for this application, but neither one was right. The stock part number is D7TF-3275-CA. Anyone know where I can find one of these?

It's actually D7TF-9275-CA and I found this info from a numberdummy post..........
Ford ID number: D7TF9275CA = Ford part number: D7TZ9275C .. Fuel Tank Sending Unit / Obsolete
D7TZ9275C replaced D4TZ9275A / Use with Midship Fuel Tank / Fits: 1974/79 F100/350 Super Cab.
No Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has either part number.
Am I screwed or it there another option? The unit is leaking around the brazed joint where the fuel tube runs through the mounting plate.

If the leak is the only thing wrong with it, you might try a welding shop and see if they can braze the joint.

I'll probably end up trying to get it repaired. RearCounter says they have a D4TZ9275A. If i understand Numberdummy right that should work. I might order that also- if it's not too spendy
