Yeah I did. I figured I'd give it a try. Can't be any worse than a tom tom.

It's been out for 2 years! What are you complaining about?

I think you will be pleased with the factory NAV.
I have been using Garmin combo marine - street units for 10 years.
Never went anywhere without one until I got the new truck. Now it only goes in if I have a special trip or pulling the camper.

I'm using the Garmin to save our our camper trips.

I was hoping to see a new design for 2014. I bought my 11 in June of 2010, and planned on trading it on a 14. I find it difficult to trade in my good running 11 with 30Kmi on a 14 that looks identical to what I already have.

Why trade it in? That's a great truck you got there. Run it for a few more years.

Got a chance to play with a new lariat trim Super Duty yesterday with the new nav system, lots of cool functions to it. I could not think of any audio/ music playing media out could not handle. Even had RCA jacks ( no headrest DVD either). I'm jealous.

I'm going to try and hold out for the 2015 year model. Hopefully Ford gets on the ball with the engines/turbos they put in the cab/chassis and fix their radiator problem as well.

Dealer is ordering it this wednesday. Couple of weeks I should have more info on it.
For now the 2012 is going to sit. I might put it up for sale on craigslist just to see what I can get for it. Maybe more than the dealer. They gave me $40,000 for it.

The only things right away the dealer is going to do is tint the windows and linex the bed. Then they'll swap over the amp power steps, the bull bar and light bar, the train horns and the transfer flow tank.
I agreed to leave the dvd head rests in it. Found out they were bottom line units. One has been replaced three times. The dealer might put in new ones that are better quality. With 4 girls 11 and under, they get tons of use. Doesn't matter if I tell them we're going to the supermarket down the street they need to put a dvd in it.

Now I have the kid at christmas feeling. Can't wait to see it on the dealer lot. It'll be a rough 6-8 weeks.

Right now there aren't any accessories out for the 14's but from what I was told they are pretty identical to the 11-13's so most of the stuff I'm looking at will fit. Chrome grill will be gone if I can get the same black billet grill that the 12 had.

After reading the entire thread I never did figure out which alternator setup you went with? What swayed you in the direction of your choice?

FWIW, I personally love the NAV unit and its features on mine. Wifey just inherited a nice TOM TOM unit!

My dealer didn't offer Line-X, but had a "local trim shop" that puts in a liner that's just as good. So I drove 100mi round-trip and had a Line-x sprayed. My son's dealer applied liner had a huge chunk knocked off the first time he went camping. Took it back for the lifetime warranty repair and knocked another chunk out the next time he went camping. I'm sure it's a different shop from what my dealer used but there's too many recommendations for a Line-X to ignore.
Did you get the dual alt's? I went back n forth over that one myself and decided the single was enough. I think the dual alt's would be the choice if I had some BIG power draw after-market toys or did extensive idling.

Hi Crystal, I may need your help! I'm taking my New 2013 6.7L into service for the dreaded 2-3 shifting tranny issue. I may need your help If I can't get this resolved. I'm trying to stay positive but after talking to the service adviser this morning, I'm not so sure. I'm taking her in this Thursday in the A.M. so I ill let you know how it goes. Thanks,
Larry
