Hi guys, a lot of you are following my build thread on the Pumpkin.
One of the things I've been looking for and couldn't really find, at least one that I liked, was some kind of insulation for under the hood.
I found several universal kits but, in my opinion, anything that is "universal" usually looks like crap once it's installed.
I came across this company QuietRide Solutions - Under Hood Covers . They make underhood insulation specific to the 73-79 F series. It looks like its the same deal as the firewall covers, insulation covered by an ABS panel.
You can get the panel either plain or with "FORD" in block letters, you can also get the Ford logo along with the engine displacement molded in.

Thanks for the info. I Have been looking for something like this as well but am so far away from needing it haven't really put serious thought into it.
Has anyone order this under hood insulation, you can get a logo on it also. Getting my 79 460 truck painted like to install one since the old one was to rotten to put back.
