I also just upgraded to these ballasts. The normal ones start the arc and take a couple of seconds to get up to full brightness. These are almost full power immediately and full power in about a second.

These are cheap Chinese manufacture but they are not a lot different than the much more expensive sets. I have used these for at least 2 years and had only 1 ballast fail last winter.

I am running these in Hella 4000s as well, two driving pattern and two pencil beams.

Using all 4 upfitter switches

#1 Mounted Viair pump in truck bed.
#2 C2 Cree LED light bar in truck grill
#3 Aux tank fuel pump and cutoff
#4 LED lights mounted under rail of bed. Used when doing RV hookup at night. Makes a HUGE difference.

High idle module? What did you use in place of the existing wiring and resistor?
