Exhaust system question
I have a 1981 F150 Ranger , 4.9 w/C6, 2 w.d., short wheelbase. I have the later fuel injection exhaust manifolds and Y pipe that I haven't put on as of yet. My question is,,,will the 1987 stock pipes w/ cat, from the Y pipe back fit my truck?
I know there are better options but I don't want to get into pipe bending and cobbling with pieces if I can use the 1987 stock pipes and just bolt them on.

Should fit, ford didn't really change the frame a lot from 1980-1996/7. I used the 1990 front pipe on mine when I installed the EFI and E4OD. I actually had to use the front pipe due to the location of the transmission crossmember for the E4OD (it's 7 inches further back).
