Exhaust question

For you Texas powerstrokers......does anyone know if it's legal to have a straight pipe with a turn down in our state?? I just went from a stock straight pipe to a 4" system, and I really wanna dump this muffler and go back ot the straight pipe application, but I want to stay within the bounds of the law. Thanks!!

Had my straight pipe as long s I could stand it...
about 8 months and went by many a locals and state troopers without any issues...
