As far as changing the front to look like a different year..... Not my thing. I like the look of mine with the SD grill. Also would hate for someone to think it isn't a 7.3 under the hood.
Was going to place order a couple of days ago for suspension stuff. Waited til this morning and decided to add a couple things so I called instead of online. Talked to a guy at 4wheel parts and started to order Pro Comp springs. Not impressed w the way he kinda talked down to me on not knowing that I needed this and that and the next thing. Basically told me I was wrong on what I wanted and would call me back w a quote to do it right.
I just wanted to get Pro Comp Lifted Leaf Springs 22410 and 22415 and do some Bilstein 5100 shocks. Asked him about ubolts and he said I needed a steering arm, pitman and just kept going almost belittling to me. Told him I didn't need to be talked down to. Wished I could have reached thru the phone.
Not sure what to do..........
As i was typing this, he called back with a $1300 + quote and when I said that wasn't in the budget and I thanked him for putting a quote together he just hung up on me.
*Customer service 101...... Bad service = I'll tell everyone about it.
OK... I just ordered Pro Comp 22210 front and Pro Comp 22415 rear leaf springs, Bilstein shocks all around, new front/rear ubolt kits and Wade window visors from Summit Racing. As far as the drop shipping charge, I asked if they matched online prices for no shipping and they did. Saved $48 which paid for the Wade visors.
Also ordered some new pinstriping and 7.3L POWERSTROKE hood decals. My buddy wants to ghost an image into the hood when he paints it but I don't know if I'm game. It'll be too tall for most to see anyway but it could be cool. I don't have an image picked out but the punisher pic came to mind..

My exact experience with 4wheel parts, they acted like I was a complete idiot who had no idea what part I needed. Told the guy where he could place his attitude and took my business elsewhere. I deal with a ton of "egos" at work but that company is by far the worst I have ever dealt with from a customer service stand point. I thought my experience was worse because I wasn't "male" but apparently not.
Thought I'd post up a quick pic before I head to work. New bumper, painted SD grill and clear headlights all fitted and getting ready for priming drivers fender and doors. Coming along great. Very happy w the looks of the grill. Just need do a little adjustment on it.
