During all the downpours we got Fri/Sat some water wicked up over my bedroom slide into the ceiling fabric. It's kinda like nice rug material up there. Anyone know of any product I can use to get rid of the stain?
I have never found anything that works consistently, if the stain is very dark and have tried almost everything commercial and otherwise.
Denny has offered one possibility and I would also suggest things like carpet cleaner since the ceiling is carpet like with a much thinner pile. If there is not rust color mixed in, you will have an easier time.
If you find something that works well, please let us know.
We have always used one of the Tide Pens, or Clorex pens. It always did the trick, then the other thing is stop where the leak is starting....
I believe I took care of the origin of the intrusion. Found a fold in the rubber seal. A few minutes of using rubber seal conditioner seemed to relax that... of course, I gotta wait for another rainstorm to be sure. I doubt if it'll be as severe as the one we have Friday night tho.....that was areal frog-strangler!
Thanks for all the tips. Just so happens Penny had Resolve under the sink already! Will let ya'll know how it works....
If nothing else works and you have a West Marine store in the area, get some Star-brite Stain-Buster Rug Cleaner. I have yet to find a stain it couldn't handle; house, car or boat
