I'm just curious what the people on this site liked for certain cleaners.
First off, what do you prefer for carpet cleaning? I need to find something good to clean mine up the next time I clean it. My pickup doubles as a farm truck, so you can imagine how dirty the carpet can get.
Second, what about a cleaner/protector for the dashboard? Some sort of vinyl/plastic cleaner similar to Armor-All. Right now I am using a "Black Magic" protectant for when I want that nice shine.
Lastly, do any of the "Quick waxes" or "Wash and Wax" products work good? I've never waxed my pickup, being I'm used to the old school products that take hours to apply. They had some Blue Coral (I think that's what it was) Wash and Wax on sale at some store I was looking at...figured I'd look into it first.
Thanks alot...and feel free to tell about any other types of cleaners, etc. you like to use.

For solid mud on the carpet, scrape at it with a dull butter knife and vacuum. Always thouroughly vacuum before any method of wet cleaning. Barring having access to an industrial steam cleaning machine, a spray bottle and a wet/dry vac will to the same job. A teaspoon of dry powdered laundry soap dissolved in a liter/quart of hot water should work for general dirt. Spot clean grease with something more aggressive if required, use something water soluble; suck it out real well and rinse with plain water. No need to soak the carpet; spray on a small amount of solution, agitate lightly with a brush and extract.
I've been using Armour All for the interior, it seems to do waht its intended for.
I bought a bottle of Black Magic 'Wax as you dry' on the weekend. I guess its OK; it says it gets better the more you use it so we'll see. I think the main part is drying off the hard water after washing - unless the finish is badly dulled or oxodized; then you may need a more involved process.
Here's another one...what about tar remvoers? I just discovered the passenger side of my pickup is covered in tar, so I gotta remove that sooner or later.
