Stabilant is a contact enhancer. Dielectric grease does not enhance contact and can work as an insulator if applied directly to contacts. The composition and use is different. Dielectric grease is used to seal moisture out of electrical contacts. Stabilant looks like water and flows like water in the one I carry on my truck.
