timing issues
How common is it for a harmonic balancer to move on a 1996 4.9 6 cylinder? My dad has been playing his old pickup which run poorly for over 150k and has decided that this has happened to his motor. He found tdc on number one cylinder but he said the mark was way off. Said he adjusted the timing to a point where the truck runs awesome, but if the balancer moved he doesn't know for sure where its set...
