C6 Info
What years and in what vehicles was the C6 installed. Wikipedia says that they were in the f-series up to 96 and in the bronco up to 90.
This doesnt sound right to me but i dont know for sure.
my local junk yard doesnt have anything older than like 88 in 4x4 f-150 and broncos. What trans code am I looking for on the door sticker for the C6
BTW, im replacing my E4OD in my 1992 f150 which wont hardly shift out of first (when it does it drops in HARD). dont know what happened to it, i snapped a u-joint now it wont shift lol.

The C6 was available in F250 and up as late as 1996 with the 5.8L, 7.5L, and 7.3L. Those are all different cases. 1990 is about right for the Bronco, I don't remember for sure. The E Series also had the C6 through 1996, also with the same three engines. If you do get one make sure it is for the same engine you have or it won't work.
