Had the ball joints on my '02 F250 4x4 done by the dealership. It came back with grease fittings on the top joints. Can anybody tell me how one gets at these fittings? Looks a bit impossible to me!
thanks
my truck has the same thing on the passenger side . the driver side has no grease fitting which i believe is still original from 2000......if you dont mind me asking what does the stealership charge to do ball joints? that driver side i just mentioned needs done and dont know if i really wanna screw with it.
Pick up a right angle grease coupler at a parts store or TSC. It works great on the upper ball joint straight grease fittings. I've been using one for about 3-4 years on my truck.

I had my joints done while they were replacing the dust seals (knuckle end). Everything had to come apart and since the ball joints were starting to show wear they suggested replacement thus saving me the tear down cost later so my cost isn't comparable to a ball joint job.
