2000 F150 window problems

2000 F150 window problems
I need some help and I can't afford mechanic prices, my passenger window won't go down from the drivers side button but will go up the passenger side button works is this hard to fix and my second question is the trip odometer fades in and out is that an easy fix also...thanks for any help given

The switch in the driver side panel is easy to replace but does require basic tools and removal of the door panel.....a not uncommon problem.

Check on the crutchfield stereo website...they have great pics/instructions on how to remove door panels, etc. for your specific vehicle. Also Helm's (who sells oem service & repair manuals), allows online access to you your specific vehicles factory service manual.....IIRR it is like $10 or $20 for 1 day access.
