Complete oil drain & replace...
Came across a website that had a detailed video for a 7.3L to vacuum out another 2-3 Qts of used oil from the upper portion of the engine. Is there a similar procedure to do this on the 6.4L. Obviously a simple drain from the pan doesn't get all the used oil because within the first 100 miles my oil always seems to be pretty black.
Now I'm really interested in a process similar for the 6.4. I just changed from Dino Oil to T6, started the truck, idled for 3-5 minutes, took a sample from drain valve. Already charcoal colored. I'll check it again in 20-30 miles to see how well it's circulated.
Why? I can understand the flack for using the oil additive Pro Line because I wouldn't use it nor do I think most would on here, but the idea of being able to change ALL or at least a much higher percentage of oil in the engine definitely couldn't hurt and I can see the benefits. Maybe not every oil change, but at least every other or maybe every third or fourth.

been thinking about this and I am advising against it. I keep coming back to how to do this and it has to be a pressurization and vacumn setup to work.
I am concerned about seals and gaskets.
I think I would just get the oil fairly hot, let sit a couple hours and dump it. That is what I do.

Per the Ford instructions I found on here somewhere(can't find it now) after taking off the drain plug, take off the oil filter as there is a valve in the bottom of the filter canister that get's released and allows the oil cooler to drain, other than that it's like a typical gasser>> other than the two extra gallons that is.

The order at which you do it shouldn't matter; the oil filter housing will drain into the sump when the cover is opened. The only way you would screw this up is if you replaced the drain plug before opening the oil filter housing. To be clear: you can open the oil filter housing before or after draining the oil, just make sure the drain plug isn't replaced first!
