Does anyone know off the top of their head if the A/C components are the same on the 7.3 as they are on the other motors from the same year? My compressor, or the clutch at least, is not functioning. I've tested the electrical to it and it all checks out. Not sure if the compressor is seized or it's just the clutch, but I might as well replace all the pieces and have it flushed and filled.

If the pulley won't freewheel with the belt on the clutch hub is seized up. If the belt doesn't squeal until the A/C is turned on then it's your compressor.

 

Mine wouldn't engage all the time, I took the front plate of the clutch off and cleaned it, that fixed my problem, Its worth a try before you start buying new stuff.

 

I'm pretty sure the compressor is seized solidly. So the question remains which other motors use the same compressor?
