Keyless entry, remote rear window

Keyless entry, remote rear window
Okay, I looked up someone rolling down their rear window with a remote on another thread and I though it would be awesome to set up with my keyless entry kit I bought. However, after wiring everything up, I can't get the rear window to roll down with the trunk button. Everything else works great, but the trunk button doesn't roll down the rear window, it just makes the parking lights stay on (giving confirmation I am holding the button).
I found another thread where someone had the wiring set up like:
and I believe this worked for them.
However, I am pretty sure mine is wired just like that, but the window doesn't roll down for me. Both the tailgate and dash switch work, but the remote doesn't roll the window down.
The manual I have list instructions for setting this up to a trunk like:

I don't really know much about relays so I don't know how to re wire this to work. I would love to get this working so any input is greatly appreciated!

Hmm well after looking at stuff for relays for about an hour and re checking my wiring, I don't think I did anything wrong. The original wiring seems like that should be correct and everything is in the right place.
I think it may be possible the relay I got is bad... now how common is that!
Hopefully that is it because otherwise I have no clue what may be wrong with the setup... at least I got everything else working!
