I installed some clear corner lights from Depo a couple of months ago http://www.ebay.com/itm/92-96-97-F-150-250-350-Super-Duty-Bronco-Clear-Bumper-Lights-Corner-Signal-Lamps-/350789875146?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&autorefresh=true&vxp=mtr&hash=item51acb4b5ca&nma=true&si=JlwZIXvd3EzH1BS%252F2iPAqmSkBZU%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
They have been fine up until last week.
It has gotten really humid lately and now both of the corner lights(not the turn signals, just the small corners) are covered with moisture on the inside of the lens. They started out with just a little, and I figured it was no big deal it will probably dry out. I was wrong, It's only getting worse
Has anyone else ever had this problem with these lenses? Or is it just me.
before I install any of them, I take clear RTV and seal the top and both sides(where the lens meets the housing). That way water can not get in.
I also take a 1/8" drill and makes holes in the two lower corners as drains
Thanks Brad, I'll take em' out, let them dry, and seal them both up better.
Now that you mention it, the turn signals came with drain holes built in. Probably why those are fine.
