New guy with some questions

Hi everybody. I'm new here. I have recently purchased an 86 f250 with a 460, t19 d44 front and I believe a sterling 10.25 rear? I've put some work into this truck so far but nothing major. Alternator, starter, new oil cooler(mine was leaking bad, I heard its obsolete but it seemed far easier to replace than delete) belts and some free tires. I bought the truck for 1100. And I've put maybe 3-400 into it so far. Right now I'm working on getting all the underbody rust off the frame and axels and ect. And then painting and undercoating it. I have a few issues I want to take care of. Theres a lot of slop in the steering wheel. And I notice my front tires kind of lean in(or out from the top) I really want to fix that before I get some decent meats on it. Any ideas what's causing that? Also I'm thinking about getting some front add-a-leafs to level out the truck but I'm afraid that could add to the wheels being tilted problem. I'm also considering the d60 swap. What all will I need to have the simplest swap possible?

Many things can cause this. The best way to do it is get someone to lightly turn the wheel back and forth without moving the tires, while you crawl around looking for stuff that his wore out, like the steering shaft, rag joint going into steering box, joints underneath, etc. Also jack each front wheel up and wiggle it with your hands at 6 and 12 o'clock and 9 and 3 o'clock to check for play.
