There is a problem with the upper anchor design which I did a thread on. The bolt is "waisted" and too loose on the upper end and getting it extremely tight will do nothing for the problem.

They made the top bolt skinny in the middle so it would pass easily through the anchor and fit snugly in the bushing which left it way too loose inside the anchor. Big companies screw up too, like those wimpy bolts in the exhaust manifolds, and just a couple threads in the aluminum heads.

My Dorman struts are working very well.
