..... I think Curtis is the Tech you are talking about. He has worked on my truck three times. The last time was about two years ago when he replaced an injector but I found out he is no longer there when I carried my truck in.
Yup, Curtis is exactly who I was talking about. Old folks couldn't remember his name for squat--LOL. He was a pretty dang good tech. He got to go for a couple of runs in the Granny truck back in the day. Super nice guy.
OK I just got back from eight day trip to Smokey Mtn National Park. Towed my 5th wheel approx 700 miles and drove another 300+ without one problem. Truck ran as good as when it was new. The new unison ring must have been needed because I did not have one turbo flap the whole trip. I'm waiting for the problem to occur again before I carry it back to the shop. They said they would keep an open ticket and haven't charged me anything for the last eight day stay in the shop.
