Do not get flowmaster 50
i had a flow master 50 sieries on my v10 and it sounds like something rattling around when towing. It sounds like ****! Guess i will have to find something different later on.

From everything I have heard there isn't much that sounds good on a V10 because of the firing order...

So I'm pretty much suick with that noise at the high rpm no matter what. Good to know

My Excursion came with an Aero-Turbine stainless steel muffler, sounds nice. I like loud mufflers though so a Flowmaster would be my 1st choice.....

lol you think thats bad, my V10 with NO muffler was loud towing in the mountains. but it did sound great!

Exhausting . . .
Like 59 CRL, I have an aeroturbine 3030XL. Really like the way it sounds. Not Rice ! No resonance. Stock exit. Sounds equally great on gas OR diesel Pulled the trigger after 2 years of reading here and listening to you tube video clips. Second choice would have been a flowmaster Big Block 50.

If you want a Flowmaster I`ve been told the 70 series is what you want. otherwise find something in a different brand.
