Transmission question

May be a dumb question but do all C4 transmissions on a 240 inline engine open like this in front or am I missing a solid cover?

1965/71 Galaxie/LTD 240 / 1965/74 F350 240 / 1965/74 F100/250 & Econoline 240/300 / 1975/79 F100/250 & Econoline 300 / 1980/81 F100 300.

TISON MOTOR CO. in Estill SC has 1 = 803-625-2551.

NOS PARTS LTD in Waxahachie TX has 2 = 972-937-2201.

CARPENTER NOS OBSOLETE PARTS in Concord NC has 13 = 800-476-9653.

you are missing the" Inspection plate " can probably find one at pick ur part or ebay ., pretty sure any C4 will work

See them on e-bay a lot , from $5.00 to $25.00 , i need one myself just haven't ordered one yet.

Yeah, I thought i could see a couple of cracks in that one view of it, but then i don't see that well now days.
