Egr leaking and pluged oil cooler

I have a 2003 6.0 and the egr cooler started leaking and my deltas are at 13 degrees I am currently running ford gold coolant and a coolant filter that I put on 5,000 miles ago when I did a flush with distilled water (no chemicals) now I am going to do a egr delete and oil cooler replacement and want to change to elc coolant I was wondering how I should flush the coolant system since my egr cooler is leaking and I don't want to replace the oil cooler again in 5000 miles. Also where is the best place to get the oem oil cooler

You SHOULD spend as much ttime Flushing as Getting the Oil Cooler Out

Guess what I mean is Lots Of FLUSHING VC-9 and Pull Thermostat

Add A Coolant Filter

Best Place to get a Oil Cooler Used to be Tousley Ford

That's Not enough spread that we see 03 EGR Coolers Die Normally

Very Common to see 03 Round egr Cooler still Holding at 25-35* Plus Spread

They should have gave everyone Round EGR Coolers They would have saved themselves lots of greif

Do all YOUR TEMP SENSORS Read the same temp after cold soak????

Not trying to hijack but I just found out that I am going to have to do the same repairs. I am opting for the oil cooler replacement and an egr cooler bypass rather than the egr delete as I am trying to keep things as stock as possible.
I found a cooler delete kit but am looking for feedback as to what to look for in a quality replacement. Performance Machine & MFG. 6.0L Powerstroke EGR Cooler Delete Kit

As for the oil cooler is there an upgrade or better brand/model over stock or is the stock oil cooler good enough?

Hopefully this can add some more options and input to both of our repairs.

My cold soak numbers are good with the ambient temp and each other so you think it's safe to do the flush with a cracked egr cooler I am just worried don't want to have to do head gaskets to

I do Like that Kit since you don't have to change the Uppipe Just Cap it

05+ Had the Scoop in OEM Uppiep that's why some guys Opt to Get OEM Upipie out

Normaly when they Leak its NOT Recommended to Flush then BUT

If at ALL Possible I would Flush Before OIL COOLER Change Grab a Lawn Chair and sit where you see the Tailpipe

How Bad does it Leak???

The Proper Flush will require 1 Hour High IDLE (1100rpm) In Driveway thermostat OUT VC-9 Cleaners!!

If it Only Leaks alittle Do the Flush and Watch the Exhaust Pipe the entire Time Shut it Down if Lots more White Smoke starts coming out

I really not sure how bad it leaks I noticed there wasn't any coolant in the degas bottle (took about 1/3 of a gallon to bring it back up to the proper level)one day so I pulled the egr valve and a course it was wet so I never started the truck again
