Also, you might want to check and make sure the DSP/Amp is still in the vehicle and not removed by previous owner.
If you send me a PM with your email I can send you the pdf on how to remove it.

Ok, sorry it took longer than expected to get my truck back, i used the illustration to verify that I do have the DSP Amp. So I guess at this point I have to find someone to reprogram it? Do you happen to know if this is possible through the configuration menu?

No I dont believe it is. I think it has to be done through a computer software program.
Well if anyone cares I think I have it coming to a resolution. After fighting with the service advisor for the last 6 weeks, I finally got to the Service Manager, long story short, they were able to identify, as Matt speculated, that the radio was never programmed correctly by the original technician. Shocker. I am set to drop off the car Monday for hopefully the last time.
What stereo is in it ? Navigation or just CD ?
Seeing as you bought it used, are you 100% sure it has the correct radio in it ? ( The way it came from the factory)
Navigators used a seperate DSP amp/module between the radio and the speakers. The unit is mounted in the dash around where the console and dash meet.
Try unplugging the amp on the top of the sub and see if it changes anything. ( should be able to just pull the 3rd row cup holder on drivers side and reach in to disconnect it )
Have you tried doing the speaker walk around test ?
Matt
hi Matt. I’m wondering which harness under cup holder do I need to disconnect?
Hello, I have a 2007 Navigator with the same radio you have. I just read this thread and have nothing to add except: You are getting great advice here, the fight you are going through is worth it, and you are going to love that radio when it is right.
