hey all...moving to oregon in a few months. I own a '79 bronco that i like to keep the top off of. I need to get some speakers that will tolerate some moisture, but do not want to sacrifice sound quality. Do marine speakers produce like normal ones? I currently have a pair of 5.25's and 6x9's in the *** end, all eclipse and sound great. I am really worried about letting them stay out in the elements. Any opinions appreciated, thanks in advance!

I went out in a buddy's boat that had an all MB Quart marine system - they sounded awesome. Of course, for $6000, they'd better sound awesome.

I have Clarion marine speakers in my boat. They kick much butt! The only marine speakers for a reasonable price that sound better are Bose (out of all the ones I've heard). I wash my boat down at the carwash, and it doesn't hurt my speakers at all.
