coil over shocks

has anyone tried to replace their front torsion suspension with coil over shocks just curious if I could remove my torsion bars and put coil overs in their place

Seems like a lot of work for little gain and making the truck less valuable in the process.

there is nothing to hold the springs in place... Why ?
