old gas tank
i have a 77 ford f100 with an older behind the seat tank.the sending unit/float is not working.
how do i find out what year the tank is to get a new sending unit?
it bolts in rather than the lock ring.

Like Coyote said, the in-cab tanks were used thru '77
Or are you saying you have an in-cab tank from a pre '73?
