Noticed over the past few days that my driver side headlight is dimming, sometimes it comes back if I flick the high beams on and off quickly, but problem is getting worse, passenger side has no problems. I swapped the bulbs from one side to another with same results, and even tried the 05 headlight assembly that I have yet to install ( I know I know,get to it already) with same result. Driver side dim, passenger side ok. Is there a relay somewhere that I can pull out and check?

Did a search, and found a thread with a pic of the socket that looks like it was fried, white powdery substance inside, mine is clean, going to try replacing the sockets on both sides anyway. Hope this works

 

Did the new socket fix the issue?
