Question please help

I need help finding the map sensor on a 88 ranger with the 2.9. I also dont know what it is. please help.

please help

the reason i was asking was because, i had an earlyer post and i was told to check the vacum for a leak at the map sensor and in the chilton manual i cant find the location for it.

please help

The MAP should be on the firewall just to the passengers side of center and the vacuum line comes off the front of the manifold, passengers side.
