I have just purchased for a very low price an 86' Ford Bronco XLT. It originally had a 4.9L straight-6 and someone put a 5L V8 in it. My problem is that I do not have the emissions and vacuum drawing under the hood for this V8 and non of the smog components are installed...non of them. Can some one help me locate these diagrams.
I also have a '86 Bronco with the stock 302FI V8. I only paid $550.
I would think that easiest way to find the diagrams would be to look in a Chilton manual specifically for our year Bronco/F-150. I will be changing the core support on mine tomorrow, maybe i can take a picture of it and scan it for you.
Personally, I would just leave it the way it is. Unless you live somewhere where the to the sniffer test I wouldn't worry about it. You'll probably be able to get more power out of it w/out any emissions stuff.
http://motorhaven.autoanything.com/ is a link right here on this web site. Search for Emission Decals and you will find what you are looking for. The deacals give the routing for the vacuum lines etc.
Motorhaven didn't have what I am looking for. I need the diagram that is usually inside the hood for emission and vacuum hookup. Do you know of any more sites? thanks
